Sky Hut - Caban y Nen Reviews

James
The sky hut was super cosyand we loved spending time with the donkeys. The week-old lambs were such a treat too!
James
The hut is thoughtfully built with all essentials for a sensible stay. Its location is top-notchand opening the roof to see the night sky is honestly a lovely touch! Would definitely return.
Emma
Sky hut is really lovely, but the roof can be a bit noisy when opening or closing. We hesitated to use it late at night, worried it might wake other guests or kids in the pods. Still, overall, it’s a pretty special spot for a stay!
Jamie
Absolutely loved our time at the cottage! Waking up to the donkeys was adorableand having no WiFi or signal made it even more special and relaxing.
James
Really enjoyed our stay here, peaceful countryside, comfy rooms, lovely hot tub overlooking the lakeand adorable donkeys wandering about.
Alex Morgan
The overall stay was nice, but the cleanliness could’ve been better-some finishing touches in the hut and communal areas were missed. The owner was friendly and chatty, which made a good impression though!
Emma
We had such a lovely weekend at the sky hut! Waking up to the sounds of geese, donkeys, sheepand all the other farm animals was honestly quite magical. Usually, we’d use earplugs to block out noise, but this time, we loved listening to everything as we drifted off - it really added to the experience. When we booked, we mainly thought about star gazing at night, but it turned out to be a great spot for daytime relaxing too. The weather was nice, with a gentle breeze, so opening the roof and sitting inside was just perfect. That said, the accommodation could have been a bit cleaner, which was a small bummer, but overall, it was worth the trip. The only real downside was the hot tub situation. There’s only one hot tub shared among quite a few guests - the sky hut (2 people), the dragons eye (2 people), two families in the glamping pods (7 people)and two cottages (4 people). That’s quite a lot for just one hot tub! It did feel a bit unhygenic and not very appealing, especially since there was another pod not booked that weekend. Plus, the booking system was a bit frustrating, as everyone wanted to use it in the evening and it was always full. Also, if you’re not keen on farm smells, it’s worth mentioning that the farm’s within the site, so some strong scents do drift around. Still, we’d definitely go back - it’s a charming place with a lot to offer!
Lucy B.
We had such a lovely time! The stay was really specialand we loved all the little touches, especially the welcome hamper - it was a lovely surprise. Visiting in spring was perfect, with lambs grazing just next to our hut and adorable donkeys that came over often, which was such a treat. The hot tub was a highlight, but you need to book it as soon as you arrive since the other spa spaces fill up quickly. We did wish there were a few more utensils, like serving spoons, but overall, it was a fantastic experience. The shower was a bit tricky to get to the right temperature, but nothing major. If you’re heading there, bringing some blankets and mosquito spray is a good idea - it helps you enjoy the roof open longer, especially in the evenings. Would definitely come back!
