Had a great break at the Mill. Great location and nice addition of the hot tub for relaxing. The bedding was great and we managed to get some decent sleep which for us is rare!

The Mill is a beautiful house set in a rural location. Amenities are close by in the town of Blandford Forum. The property is well thought out with everything you could possibly need provided. The dcor is beautiful and the hot tub was very pleasant at the end of a busy day walking and sight seeing. The paddock was excellent for our dog to exercise in and burn off some excess energy, before settling down in the comfort of the lounge. Beds very comfortable and shower was excellent with lots of hot water. Property is well located to explore Dorset. I would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our time at The Mill the cottage inside was beautiful & all the fixtures & fittings were of a high quality. The Hosts were excellent & very helpful. The Hot Tub was very good but the external furniture probably needs some TLC or replacing. We were disappointed that we couldnt open the door on the Juliet Balcony but it was not a big issue.

The Mill is a lovely cottage with a homely feel. It is situated in country surroundings within a working farm environment and whilst we were warned that we might experience noise at times, we found it very peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

Just home from a really wonderful week at The Mill. The cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more cosy, comfortable, clean, quiet and well equipped. Sharon had gone out of her way to decorate the house beautifully for Christmas and was kind, friendly and helpful in all of her communication. She was also very accommodating of us and our one year old twins and nothing was too much bother. We would definitely recommend this home from home.

Cottage had been refurbished to a high standard and made for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub is a lovely addition. Ideally situated for local attractions of Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Swanage.

From the moment we arrived and met Sharon everything was perfect. The cottage has been done to a very high standard and was immaculately clean. The photographs do not do it justice. The mill is a very quiet and comfortable place to stay . A big warm hug!! The shower was great with lovely hot water and the towel rails worked perfectly. There was nothing we needed milk in the fridge and biscuits. Fantastic paddock for our little Labrador. We are renting due to house move and we wish we could have stayed here longer. Highly recommend this little gem,

Lots of little touches made it a great break away, washing up bits, soap, salt and pepper, tea, coffee and milk, towels, full kitchen, blankets in lounge, big shared area as well as your own private fenced patio with hot tub. Super cottage. New, clean and modern. Great place to stay with a pet. Really good location to act as a base for visiting other parts of Dorset. You must try the breakfast's at the extreme sport centre near by.

The Mill is absolutely perfect in every way so much so we ended up staying for over 5 months. It's a beautiful cottage and ideal for either a couple but big enough for 4 people. There is everything you need at the cottage, a spacious, light kitchen and beautiful walks right from the doorstep. The coast is only 20 minutes away and the nearest town under 10mins. Sharon, our host is super helpful and couldn't do enough for us! I can't recommend The Mill highly enough it's a rare find.

We were very happy with the cottage, it was beautifully equipped and comfortable. Great location to explore the local area. Only one suggestion, a blind on the velux in the second bedroom, would help the light streaming in so early. Would very happily come back! Thank you Sharon x

Absolutely loved it, a really well appointed and equipped cottage in a lovely spot. It was great for our dog having a large secure grassed area for her to run in. I met both Neil & Sharon who are really lovely and keen to make sure everything was ok for us to have a fantastic time, which we did. Have already recommended it and will return in the future.

We've had a very comfortable, friendly stay. Lovely to wake up and see the horses in their paddocks. Hot tub an added bonus. Ideally situated to explore Poole and surrounding area as well as Shaftesbury and Dorchester. Everything was provided that we could have needed. Highly recommend.

Generally a nice place in quiet surroundings although a busy yard due to it being on a working livery. Your private courtyard garden has a lovely hot tub, both could have done with a better clean, on the outside of the hot tub and floor of the courtyard. The stairs have a twist in them and the shower is in the bath. So if you had mobility issues then the place is not for you. The bathroom would have been better with just a walkin shower. One morning we didnt have any hot water. This was reported and fixed quickly. We sat there for an hour waiting for someone to fix it. Whatever the problem we was not told it had been fixed. On the day of departure, maintenance people were in the property as we were loading the car. We found this rather rude and shouldve waited until we had left. No fire instructions but we did find a fire blanket and extinguisher in a kitchen cupboard. On the whole we enjoyed our stay, the place being new and a year old. Just those pointers for improvement. We would consider returning.

The Mill is a hidden gem. It was perfect for us and the dog, with many accessible walks including the North Dorset Trailway. Conveniently located not too far away from the coast and other attractions. The Hot Tub is a bonus when coming back from a long day out.

The host was very welcoming and had left us a little arrival pack which was a lovely touch. The property was clean and fresh but at the same time cosy and homely.The hot tub was a real treat and we loved getting in to it in the evening for a chill in our private little courtyard not being overlooked. There was a perfect doggy field for toileting and another lovely field for the kids to run around in. The Mill was in a perfect location a few minutes drive from the nearest town, and near lots of walks and only half hour from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back as we love that area of the country and great to find somewhere that's also perfect for our dog that isn't too keen on others.

Lovely recently converted barn, very well converted excellent finish. Hot tub was a bonus, been nice if more local to pubs nearest pub 3 miles away but was very good. Nice quiet relaxing break, owners should be very proud of what they have.

The Cottage was lovely. Even better than it looks in the photos. Comfortable, cosy, had every facility you needed for a good stay. The hot tub is a lovely relaxing luxury too. Lovely play area for kids, and enclosed area for dogs too. The owner was really nice and helpful too. We really enjoyed our week and didnt want to come home, well definitely be returning to the Mill in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at The Mill. Its a beautiful property and even more so than the pictures! The cottage was extremely clean and well fitted out. We really appreciated the effort made to accommodate a baby a full sized cot not a travel cot! and a high chair. And of course being dog friendly was a huge bonus and there was even a dog paddock for him to run around in! The hot tub was great too of course. The property is well located to explore the local area. We would definitely stay again if were in the area!

This was a perfect stay had everything we needed, the facilities were excellent. It was extremely clean and a really lovely setting, the outdoor toys and paddock for the boys was a really nice touch. We would highly recommend

We had a really great time staying at The Mill. My kids enjoyed the hot tub. It was very clean and well equipped. I think the only things that were missing was a ttowel in the kitchen and a hairdryer. I would highly recommend a stay here.
