Ash cottage was just perfect. We had two amazing weeks there and will definitely be returning to continue to explore this beautiful part of Wales. Les and Lesley were always on hand to check everything was OK. Our stay was home from home in the sense that the cottage was perfectly equipped and very welcoming and comfortable. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch too. We had a couple of wet weather days so the washing machine, tumble dryer and drying room were an additional bonus. Thank you to Les and Lesley. We agreed that our two weeks at Ash cottage was a favourite holiday and we felt relaxed and refreshed. The cottage was just perfect for us and all facilities were excellent.

Very high standard of accomodation in a very quiet rural area, coupled with a private hot tub made for a very relaxing and much needed winddown. Well situated for Cardigan BayNewQuay area with nice local villages and pubs to visit. Les and Leslie were great hosts too.

We were warmly met by the owners who had left a lovely welcome hamper for us. The cottage was meticulously clean and every comfort was provided including lovely fluffy gowns! There were plenty of books and games to keep us occupied when it rained. It would be nice to have some sort of shelter and fairy lights by the hot tub so we could use it in really bad weather.

The weather was not the best during our stay but was always a pleasure to go back to the comfort of the cottage. The welcome basket was an added extra, but most of all how clean the property was, comfortable beds and wonderful settee! The hosts were very accommodating and nothing too much trouble. Everything we could have wished for and more, A peaceful and quiet location, only 2030 minute drive from the coast, Cardigan, New quay, Aberearon etc, some fantastic little beaches too. Lots to do everyday and cottage was so wonderful we looked forward to going back there after a busy day, hot tub was fabulous. Everything is so clean and every detail and item thought of.

We had a lovely week staying at Ash Cottage, the owners were very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was fantastic and just what we wanted at the end of a day walking, exploring the beaches. A garden to play with the kids was all that was missing, but the WiFi was good so that kept them happy! We found loads to do, and were blessed with excellent weather. Nearby Newcastle Emlyn is a great little town, plenty of eateries, a good antiques place and a small supermarket.

We were met on our arrival at Ash cottage and were made to feel welcome right away. Throughout the week long stay, because the close proximity of the cottage owner's home we were usually in daily contact with them and passed the time of day discussing various topics. The cottage was clean,tidy and very warm,the addition of the welcome pack was an extra touch to make you feel more welcome, the hot tub was also nice to relax in on return from our days out and about. The whole experience because of this made the holiday more like we were staying with friends instead of owners and guests. A perfect relaxing holiday.

The location and quietness surrounded by beautiful countryside, not too far from the beaches and the National Trust cliff walks Wales is a very much underrated holiday destination, but I think the public are coming to the conclusion that with its wonderful beaches, rocky coves, fantastic cliff walks, well maintained roads and cheaper rates for admission chargestickets etc. that Wales is the all round hot spot for couples and families alike.

The cottage was so much more than the photos on the website showed, it was so well equipped and if there was anything else that we needed the owners were there to help.

Our cottage was beautifully presented, We were welcomed by the hosts on arrival, Les and Lesley are lovely people who made sure we had everything we needed before leaving us to enjoy our break.
