Field View Reviews

Christopher
A bijou cottage with very good basic facilities. Everything was clean and tidy. Some small improvements would make the accommodation better, but overall, we were happy.
The location is ideal for getting to a lot of lovely places. The only downside of the furniture in the cottage is the sofa.. the outside chairs were more comfy to sit on.
Lovely cottage. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well thought out with everything you might need for a stay. Great tips on places to visit too. Already planning a return visit.
Jasmine
Lovely stay and lovely hosts! The hot tub was lush, and the property is well situated. It is next to a fast road, but it is only busy if you can even call it that in the morning for work and school traffic. It did not cause us any issues, and we managed to walk along it to reach the local footpaths easily.
Gillian
What a lovely cottage to stay in. Steph and Cris are fantastic hosts, so welcoming and friendly. The dogvpa4k is just what we needed first thing on a morning and last thing at night. The cottage is within driving distance of lovely beaches and forest walks.
Claire
Welcomed by Steph and Chris on arrival who had plenty of recommendations for us. Lovely hot tub and views on the balcony. Compact space but it had everything we needed.
We had a lovely stay in Field View cottage. It was well presented and the attention to detail was second to none. The hot tub was nice and refreshing. The only fault I had was there was no iron to freshen up clothing after being packed away in bags. We loved sitting on the balcony having a glass of something and watching the animals in the fields. We saw red kites soaring in the sky. Which was a lovely sight to behold.
Leanne
A lovely cottage, very comfortable and clean. Loved the hot tub. Our dog loved the exercise area. Everything was very well thought out. We highly recommend staying at this cottage for a peaceful and restful time.
What a fantastic time we had. The cottage was outstanding in every which way. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Our dog loved the cottage aswell especially the purposely made dog field. We are already planning our next trip there.
Dorothy
A lovely cottage that was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Chris and Steph were welcoming and friendly, greeting us on arrival and as we were packing up to leave. We will definitely be back.
Samantha
Spotlessly clean cottage with all the facilities we could have wished for the little extras were very much appreciated too! The hot tub was just what we needed both before and after exploring the beautiful countryside and coastline! Thank you Chris and Steph for a great away from it all break!
The owners were very welcoming and the cottage was very comfortable. The hot tub was checked daily by the owners and was a nice way to end the day especially as the weather was so good and the skies were clear. There was a scheduled power cut on our last day and the owners were prepared to provide us with alternative cooking facilities. They also provided a flask of hot water. Would definitely recommend.
Heather
Lovely comfortable stay, facilities perfect for our needs. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you for the kind welcome.

We had a wonderful stay in this perfect cottage. We could not fault a thing! Chris and Stef were fabulous hosts and very responsive and welcoming. The cottage had everything we needed and the hot tub was perfect after a day exploring. The accommodation was perfect for our pooch and she enjoyed the dog exercise area. The tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes were a lovely welcome too! Would recommend a trip to Poppit Sands beach, Aberaeron, Cardigan for the brownies! and Aberystwyth!
Generally an all round amazing stay. Would happily stay again and plan to again in the future.
Lovely stay in this perfect little cottage. The owners, Chris and Steph, are terrific and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The views from the cottage are spectacular and it is wonderfully quiet apart from the occasional passing car or farm vehicle. Although we didn't have time to use the hot tub it looks very inviting especially at night when, if it is clear, the stars are brilliant with no light pollution. Would thoroughly recommend for a very relaxing break.
Robert
Field View apartment was very quiet and peaceful. The deck overlooking the fields was a wonderful place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset. The hottub was great to sooth muscles after a day of hiking to castles or through beautiful gardens a short drive away. A 15 minute drive took us to a great store so we could cook our own meals in the well supplied kitchen. We spent a wellrested 10 days at Field View, it's a great base from which to explore southwest Wales!
Michelle
This was such a wonderful break to decompress and write! We both spent ages in the hot tub, reading on the sofa, sitting on the balcony writing. It was exactly what we needed. Watching bunnies hop around in the opposite field and cows graze while the sun set priceless.
Edward
This was our second visit to Field View and again a first class stay. New owners Chris and Steph were so welcoming...the perfect hosts. Field View the perfect place to get away from the routine of everyday life. Everything you need is there including the Hot Tub...morning noon and night. A good base for getting out and about by car or walking and local transport. We look forward to a return visit in 2025....still so many places we wish to find and visit. Thank you Chris and Steph we wish you both every success
