The property is in 60 acres of beautiful countryside on the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Nearby Llandovery (4.5 miles) is a great market town in which to discover the history and legends of the local area. Stop at one of the many inns and tuck into a Drover’s lunch. This charming two-storey property retains a cottage feel with plenty of exposed wooden beams and wood burners. It has stylish furnishings and decor and all the contemporary creature comforts to ensure a memorable stay. Within a short drive from the property, there are many cycling and walking routes, including at Cwm Rhaeadr (6.5 miles). The Brecon Beacons Visitor Centre (22 miles) offers cycling, walking and spectacular mountain views. All ages will love to have a go at panning for gold, so head 15 miles to National Trust Dolaucothi Gold Mines, enjoy the guided tours and learn about the history of gold mining in the area.
