About Raphael House

The Millennium Coastal Path offers fantastic walking and cycling opportunities. After a day exploring, soak your tired muscles in the private hot tub while taking in those spectacular coastal views. Glass of wine optional but highly recommended!

Accommodation includes two king-size bedrooms on the upper floor (one with en-suite), plus a double and a twin on the lower floor with a walk-in shower room. The fully equipped kitchen has everything - oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The outdoor patio area features a picnic bench perfect for al fresco dining.

Ticked all the boxes for Grandparents to Grandchildren. Comfortable living and kitchen areas. Kids loved the hot tub and a short walk down to see the horses and goats in a nearby field.

We opted to stay at the Raphael House for a joint friendsfamily holiday in May 2025. The house is beautiful, and has a great view of the water on clearnon rainy days, and suited all our needs to house, entertain, and feed a combined total of 4 adults 4 young children. There are many amenities that make the stay incredibly comfortable such as a washerdryer, plenty of plates, drinkware, and some accommodation for kids dishes. The house comes decently equipped with cookware for anyone selfcatering, and the fact that there are 3 bathrooms 1 tubshower 2 showers was great for us. In terms of entertainment, there was a great supply of DVDsBlurays, board games and books that we did use and of course we also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub! The owners of the house were also very kind and personable. In terms of suggestions for improvement, we would have liked to have seen more bowls that were suitable for cereals deeper, and more spoons available. Perhaps, spareextra towels available would have been a nice touch, but overall we really have zero complaints and would 100 return for a future stay.

The accommodation was clean, warm, comfortable and in a fantastic position for beautiful views across to the Gower peninsula. As 6 adults, we had a lovely time together and had space to be alone. The Hot Tub was a hit to our friends who were in desperate need of a relaxing time. Access to the property is up a steep sloperoad, i walked up and down it! but fine when you get there. 2 bedrooms are down some stairs which might be a little steep for some, but perfectly acceptable to us 6. We would all love to go back at sometime. Access to the coastal path, scenery and walking areas, cold but good weather at the time helped us all to get away from it all for a few days. Brilliant place to stay for half term break with family. Everything were topnotch and we enjoyed the views, hot tub and lovely walk to the beach. Our kids love to see the horses and goat nearby and especially the owner dog Ruby. Marie and Ben are super lovely hosts. We have already booked to come back again next year can't wait!

Lovely house clean and comfortable would recommend to others only downside there were no dish cloths, tea towels or dishwasher tablets and instructions to property could be better or a sign on post on the bend pointing way.

We loved the lovely situation and views. Sadly there were some tricky paths and trip hazards within and without the property also very steep steps to the lower bedrooms. This presented some difficulties for some of our party. Perhaps this could be made clear for future bookings ?
Absolutely wonderful stay at Raphael House. It is completely separate to the owners they are next door and always happy to help so it's very private. They very helpfully asked us beforehand which rooms we would be using and explained the layout which meant we were able to just use the top rooms which was ideal for our 3 year old and blind dog. Watching the sunset every night from the hot tub was just idyllic. The property was spotless and very thoughtfully renovated and decorated, really comfortable. We had a lovely time, the house is situated on a partially secluded hillside, with stunning view of Burry port. The accommodation was spacious, modern and clean, with good quality furnishings. The hot tub let's you unwind at the end of the day. Overall we had a brilliant time and would recommend to anyone.

Raphael House is a super property in a really lovely location with magnificient views. The house is very well equiped and is splendidly decorated. Absolutely fantastic holiday accommodation, spotlessly clean and so many thoughtful touches throughout. The layout worked perfectly for us with two lovely double rooms on the one level which was then similar to a bungalow and two further rooms on the lower level. We were greeted by the owners who were extremely friendly and helpful and unless we needed anything we were left to enjoy. Sitting watching woodpeckers and numerous other birds feeding off the bird feeders and admiring the view over the Gower, while sat in the hot tub or patio was outstanding and pure relaxation. Will most definitely be returning as we all had such a great holiday.
Raphael House is an amazing home away from home. The house is spacious, comfortable, fully equipped and dog friendly. My family of 8 had a wonderful time. The hosts, Ben and Marie are so approachable and they respected our privacy and stay in their property. Soaking in the hot tub after a day full of sightseeing and activities is heavenly! Given the chance, will definitely coma back again and will definitely recommend to friends and family.
