Brynawel Reviews

We stayed as a family of two adults, one child, and our dog, and had a truly wonderful time. The property was clean, tidy, and beautifully presented such a lovely home away from home. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and we especially appreciated the welcome hamper on arrival. It was a warm and generous touch that made us feel instantly at ease. The cottage was a perfect base for exploring the area and relaxing in peaceful surroundings. Wed happily return and would definitely recommend it to other families looking for a comfortable and petfriendly escape.
Wow, what a find, a beautiful home from home with everything you need to get away from it all. Absolutely spotless clean. The outdoor space was brilliant with a nice surprise of a second tier grass area. Absolutely great if you have a dog mine is a crazy lurcher and he was going now where. Completely safe for him to run around. Without a doubt i will be booking another week.

Lovely clean well equipped property. Perfect for relaxation and getting away from it all for a few days. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Main road outside property was a bit noisy at times with large lorries passing regularly.
Lovely property, perfect for celebrating my partners 30th birthday! Has everything you need, hot tub and garden was great On a main road so you do hear a lot of noise but this was not a bother to us. Thank you!
Lovely house, thoroughly enjoyed our say here. Loved the log burner especially. Only thing we could 'complain ' about is not being able to change heating settings so was quite cold at night but even that I wouldn't mark down the property,we loved it.

It was very welcoming to arrive at this lovely warm house and lots of goodies left for us to see in the new yearthank you. Loads of kitchen cupboard storage space. The bedspillowstowels all very comfortable and a great shower. The hot tub was lovely, clean and just perfect. If you enjoy ground coffee, you may want to take your cafetire and for those who use a hairdryer, there isnt one provided. We really enjoyed our short break in this comfortable house.
Very well located. Lovely beaches within easy reach and accessible roads made driving enjoyable. The cottage was cozy especially. Cozy in the evening with the log fire burning and the hot tub was a lovely relaxing treat even in November.
Jennifer

A beautiful cottage with everything you could wish for. Large kitchendiner with loads of cupboard space. 2 lounges and 2 bathrooms. Comfy beds and a clever light on the landing which came on automatically. Outside large car parking area. The patio area was great with table and 6 chairs and a great hot tub and plenty of space. We cant recommend this cottage enough.
Great little cottage, nice and cozy. More than enough room for all 4 of us. Everything works as it should and the host is really friendly. We would happily come back.

This was a lovely property, very cosy and perfectly located for what we wanted to do. You are in a rural area which is just beautiful in its surroundings and so peaceful. The house was very clean, and the host was attentive via message if there were any questions. There are a few spiders and flies in the area which can sometimes creep into the house as with any house so it did make us jump a couple of times so if you have a spider catcher that would be super helpful and also not harming them to put them back outside. Just a small point on the shower in the en suite which was filling up so we had to shower quicklyuse the main shower between the 5 of us. Aside from that, really lovely property and there was a sweet welcome package set up for us too. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Christopher
We enjoyed a perfect week. The location was ideal for touring the area. The cottage was exactly as described. and the hot tub was great! A good size with plenty of jets. There have been previous comments about the fridge, please note this has been replaced with a generous sized fridgefreezer.
Eleanor
Spotlessly clean with everything you would need for a short stay. Hot tub was a bonus. The only negative was the fridge which had a small icebox which couldnt be used as the door wouldnt stay closed. In addition when emptying the fridge we noticed that yoghurts which were on the shelf beneath the icebox were warm as was the under side of the icebox. We met the owner on arrival who was friendly and welcoming.
Natalia
It was absolutely amazing! It made our vacation perfect and we would love to be back in the future! Beautiful!
Claire
Fantastic spacious property. Lovely garden area with the hot tub an added bonus. Travelling with 3 children we used the garden alot. My eldest daughter rates this property 1010 and the best she has ever stayed in. My only small issue was the size of the fridge arriving with food for 5 people for 34 days we struggled to fit it all in. Unfortunately the fridge also did not keep things cold so we did need to bin some items. We did travel during a heat wave so may of been struggling with the heat.

We love this property. We look forward to returning in the future. Two lounges gives space for the family to spread out. Big driveway. Excellent location very rural but easy to access the main road network. Split level garden is lovely. Excellent hot tub. Quiet location but some rural traffic. Nice to be able to light a fire in the lounge. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Well resourced. The only thing we would suggest is a larger fridgefreezer to allow a family size shop to be stored. Other than that we can find no fault with this property and we look forward to returning. Thank you.
Christopher
This property offered very good accommodation for our family group of 3 adults and we received very responsive help from the owner and family to resolve some minor issues. We would like to offer feedback on two issues 1 Our stay coincided with a week of particularly hot weather 1522 July but the fridge struggled to maintain a cool temperature so that milk & some food had to be thrown away the freezer compartment was woefully inadequate. May we suggest that a cottage of this quality with capacity for 5 adults needs a fridgefreezer unit in the kitchen? 2 We were unable to use shelves in kitchen cupboards without first undertaking a complete clean. Unfortunately we were unable to locate a guest book for leaving comments
The property was lovely and secluded but with easy access to main routes, which meant exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire really easy. Using the hot tub at the end of the day was an added bonus to a relaxing break.
Pamela
This is one of the best rental property we have stayed at lovely cottage, Outside is really nice hot tub is a bonus and the owners are very nice we have booked to come back end of the summer already would recomend this place to anyone.
This cottage is just as described. It's cosy, has lots of space and was just perfect for our Christmas getaway. There was a Christmas tree and decorations that made it a perfect home away from home. The log fire place also added that touch of cosiness. The beds were comfortable, the duvets and pillows were all very comfy and warm too. The kitchen and dining area was so spacious, even with us all getting things ready for our Christmas dinner. The garden setting and hot tub were such bonus. It was great being able to just relax, with music on and in such an isolated area. We didn't go out and about much, but that wasn't the purpose for our getaway. We literally just wanted to chill and have fun with the family. We would love to go back and will definitely be recommending this property.
This is the first time we, as a family, have ever booked a cottage type break away it won't be the last. This is a delightful cottage and far exceeded the expectations from the already wonderful pictures you see here. It is spacious with 2 sitting rooms. The main sitting room has a log burner with everything provided to get it going. I've no idea how to use one, but I gave it a go and had a nice fire going. Has a TV with all the usual channels and iplayer etc. The other sitting room is equally as nice but you may need your own firestick there if you want to watch the television. But we didn't do much telly watching so only briefly looked. Kitchen diner is massive! All you need to cook is here. Very good quality throughout. Ensuite main bedroom. Make sure you pull the blind down You'll see!. Bed is extremely comfy. The children reported the same from there room too! Now, the cottage is on a main road, so there is a bit of traffic noise but to be honest its not really an issue. The boiler clicks a bit in the main bedroom when the heating comes on but again you're being uber picky if this is an issue. The outside is just lovely. You can spend hours in the hot tub, listening to tunes if you want, or the blissful sound of absolute calm. It is really secluded too so no one can see round the back. There is a lovely little welcome back and a folder with all you need to know about the cottage and the area. A brilliant touch. As it says, everything is a bit of a drive away, but an ideal base for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Our only regret is not being able to stay a bit longer. Out two asked when we were going back. I said I didn't know but we will be going back to this beautifully presented cottage.
Beautiful cottage very clean and comfortable, the garden is stunning, the only thing i would add would be a washerdryer especially because theres a hot tub but everything else was spot on.
2 adults and 2 teenagers. The garden is amazing! Spent a lot of time in the hot tub watching the bees and butterflies visiting the lovely flowers. The house is well laid out and very comfortable. Note you do have to get in the car to go anywhere but if you just want to chill or use it as a base to access Pembrokeshire its ideal. Plenty of off road parking but as on a country lane did get some farm traffic passing early morning. The host was contactable and responsive to questions. The welcome pack was a lovely touch.
