Garden View Reviews

The property is beautifully finished and very well equipped. The description regarding the upstairs shower is misleading as although there is a shower attached to the taps,it's not set up to use as a shower. No attachment or shower curtain. The description of a balcony is also misleading as this is actually a Julie tte balcony. Everything else, including the hot tub, cottage etc is exceptional.
Cottage was lovely, well equipped everything we needed. Very dog friendly which is very important to us.Would definitely recommend to others.
We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely location. Loved the hot tub. Kitchen was well equipped. Owners were very welcoming and friendly.
Gillian
Cottage was really comfortable, with lots of equipment. Steph and Chris were extremely helpful and friendly, the Welsh cakes and fresh milk were a really nice touch on arrival. Really enjoyed watching the Red Kites from the hot tub. Also the dishwasher was a pleasant surprise as it was not listed in the overview. However it is the 1st cottage that we have stayed in without any wardrobes but we managed as there were quite a few coat hooks. On a lighter note, we got vertigo climbing into the double bed. No idea why there were 2 mattresses but it brightened up our stay. We would stay at Garden View again, if we were in the area.
5 Star holiday let in a peaceful location, tastefully decorated throughout and immaculately clean with everything you could possibly need, thought has gone into the little things like usb plugs, plenty of hanging hooks & a cosmetic mirror The hot tub was amazing & checked daily by the owners. The bed is the comfiest ever and along with lovely scented laundry all I can say is set your alarm if you want to get out and about exploring!
We had a great stay and the property had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the property was super clean. The hot tub was a really good addition. The location is in a really quiet spot but central to explore this part of Wales. Steph and Chris are great hosts, nothing was to much trouble.
Vinoth
A haven from Londons bustle, this wellequipped, clean, and accessible cottage with a modern hot tub was a perfect escape for our family of five. Steph and Chris, our fabulous hosts, always smiled and guided us well. Anyone visiting this cottage wont regret it, especially if theyre lucky enough to try Stephs homemade breadamazing! Thank you Steph & Chris and see you again
Richard
A really attractive and comfortable cottage, in beautifully tranquil surroundings, with all practical requirements catered for. Friendly assistance on hand if needed. Splendid!
Lovely, well appointed property with comfortable beds. Very cosy and warm, quiet location and when the clouds have parted, a wonderful nigh sky viewing from the fantastic hot tub. Family of four visited and all enjoyed the cottage. Location is around 30 mins to the coast on little roads but thats part of the scenic journey.
Christine
Stef and Chris where brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Cottage was very clean kitchen well equipped. Would highly recommend this cottage x
Annette
We stayed at Green View for New Year and the cottage was beautiful. Chris and Steph were amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Very good communication beforehand. Very accommodating, we had an additional dog and car and they were so helpful in ensuring nothing was too much trouble. The hot tub was a huge hit, even in the rain! We managed a trip to the beach in December and a walk around the forests before the weather meant we needed to stay indoors, but the facilities in the cottage were suitable to keep us warm and comfortable. We are already planning to return in 2025, maybe in the summer so we can visit more of the beautiful area.
Heather
Steph and Chris run a fabulous place, the cottage was beautifully clean and homely, fully stocked kitchen even welsh cakes! They made us feel welcome and offered advice on places to visit. The hot tub was lovely, even in November. Will definitely be back!

We had a lovely week in Garden View with our familiy. Its a lovely little house in a beautiful area. The house is great, with good comfortable beds and sofa, a lovely garden and of course the hot tub is brilliant. Our daughter had a lot of fun in the garden and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day with the baby monitor helping us keep an eye on our little ones. There are lots and lots of things to do in the surrounding areas we particularly enjoyed dolphin watching in New Quay and Welly Wednesdays at the Royal Botanical Gardens. Steph and Chris were very friendly and welcoming hosts and they added that extra level to our stay. Also, our kids loved them and were quite sad to leave!
We had a superb week at garden view, the cottage is a bolt hole from the normal, when the new landlords have settled in there will ben amazing place to stay. The hot tub, as the landlord knows, needs to be more private. But this is being looked at. South Wales is a lovely place to start your holiday from. Ruby, our miniature schnauzer loved the doggy area, somewhere for her to be free and know where to do her business. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

We stayed at garden view cottage for almost a week. The location was ideal. just half hour away we watched the sunset at new quay harbour and went on a boat ride to watch some dolphins . We visited Tresaith aberporth beach and Tresaith waterfall it was beautiful. Chris and Steph were amazing hosts they were friendly, welcoming, understanding and really made us feel at home. They made adjustments to make us feel comfortable which we really appreciated and are grateful for, thank you both for a lovely stay ! The cottage had everything we needed for our stay , it was comfortable and ideal with little ones. The cottage had a lovely bedroom view of the garden which was nice to look out in the morning . The area was so peaceful surrounded by nature which was amazing for us as we live in a busy city.We are missing it already, my children just loved exploring the garden and say they miss the holiday home . Thanks again for everything and we wish you the best for the future
Garden View was a lovely relaxing place to stay. The owners were very welcoming. We loved the hot tub and the peaceful countryside walks nearby.
