Wernddu Fechan House, Neath

We had a great week there, it is a really nice property.

This house was beautiful and we had such a lovely time. There were 14 of us in total with an age range of 1 - 97. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy on arrival and the kitchen was equipped with pretty much every appliance you could think of. The hot tub was also a lovely feature - even in the cold Welsh weather! All bedrooms were very big with plenty of storage and floor space, even though most of them slept 3 people. All bathrooms were immaculate and clean too with plenty of clean fluffy towels provided for guests. The owners were very responsive and helpful with any queries I asked and we used a local supermarket for online shopping delivery and a local chinese for delivery whilst we were there too.10/10 - Would thoroughly recommend.The only thing I would say (and this is nothing to do with the owners or the house), but if you are not familiar with the area, I would suggest trying to arrive during daylight hours as the road leading to the house is quite windy and not very well lit.

Our stay was in December, and on arrival we were greeted by a beautiful and festive entrance hall, as we are Christmas fanatics this was lovely! The house was warm and inviting, with lovely lightening dotted around.The house was decorated for Christmas, which was very important to us.Games rooms was fantastic, pool/snooker table, massive TV, seating area with a table and lots of board games.The WiFi was excellent all around the house, which was very important as we were with a group of youngsters LOL.The kitchen was bright and well stocked with very good appliances, and sharp knives (a blunt knife is my husbands bugbear). A huge table which all 13 of us sat around playing games.The living area had a great TV plenty of places to sit, we did not feel cramped at all.The bedrooms were really nice, plenty of storage space, plenty of room and TV's, the beds were so comfortable, the bedding smelt great, the pillow's lovely, all en suite upstairs.Boot room with a washing machine, hang coats etc.Hot tub was clean and lovely and warm, surrounded by fairy lights, it really was lovely.So great to be able for some of our party to bring their dogs, great places to take them for a walk. Very dog friendly.Great location, you feel in the middle of the countryside, but only 15 minutes away from a supermarket, and local shops at the bottom of the road.Great interaction with the hosts.We will 100% be booking again, and would thoroughly recommend Wernddu Fechan House to others, we went as a family to celebrate my nephews 18th birthday this house did not disappoint!!!
